kindergarten reunion

- round 1 -

i just had my TK Bahagia Reunion [TK (short form of: taman kanak-kanak, meaning: kindergarten) & Bahagia (meaning: happy)]. so basically is a kindergarten reunion where i was 5 years old. isn't it cute? we planned this meeting since 2013. we decided the right date to meet up and we did it ! we had our lunch meet at Pancious, Mall Kelapa Gading :)

you might wonder how it started. simple! 4 years ago, i was about to moved out from my old house then my mom found this photo, so i scan it, i upload it on facebook, and tagged few friends that i remembered. it turned up WOW ! more and more friends were tagged inside the photo and we just start to recall each other faces.

we were so young, what to expect? we don't remember a lot.except one-two person who has really good memory who can even remember what bag we brought during that time #respect

before i met everyone, i foresee that this reunion will end by the evening because of the awkward atmosphere. then i assume that people will start give reasons so they can go home faster. but i was wrong. at the beginning, i don't really remember everyone but as the conversation goes on, i start to remember who are they. we do a re-introduction because not all of us remember each other (count me in haha). the small window in my mind starts to open one by one. "OH so it was you!". "ah ya ya ya i remember that now".

is really a day full of a non-stop-laughing and non-stop-talking which will cause my throat to have muscles near in the future xP. let me revealed one of the story from that day that i will not and can not forget.

A: do you know X? do anyone invites X to come?
B: i know X, he can't come
C: i remember something. during that time, i was playing power ranger with my friend and we lack of one color. so i asked X, "hey do you want to be one of the power ranger? we need one more person". and u know what X answered? X said "ah is okay, i already became sailormoon just now"
Me: :"""D

we were so innocent back then :'D

whatever i assumed before is wrong. it ain't awkward at all. it is really funny. everyone shares their memories when we were young. it made me slowly remember who are they.

D: i remember you knocked your head on the swing and your head bleed
E: you are the one who taught to stand on it and i fell
Me: oh so you are the one who bleed and make the whole school panic

F: before we left the school, they install a new slide. do you remember? it is very tall.
G: yea, i played it once and i warned Y that it is very tall. when she reach the top, she cried and scared to slide down

the past, current, and future. we brought everything to the surface. and now, i can see the future success man and woman coming up from this group :)

- round 2 -

after lunch, we went for karaoke. for some reason, we went for karaoke to see our ex-boyband friend singing. and for some reason, they want to see me dancing. my eyes just go O___0. and yea we did, i think everyone just want to sing. wanna tell their life story thru the songs that they going to pick hahaha~

 

 

we took these two photos below on a purpose. this spot has been the most famous spot for taking pictures during the middle and high school. there is no front camera at that time. the pictures that we used to take is most likely like this. very similar haha. we are so tacky #YOLO

  

- round 3 -

we picked Pantai Indah Kapuk for our last destination. famous hangout place in Jakarta for genY during weekend (especially saturday night). if you wish to go there on weekend, during the night, and you get a parking spot very fast, you are very lucky :) the parallel parking there reach up to 3 lines. thankfully the road is wide enough.

so we spent our night at Hangover - The House of Soju. that night, we are so lucky ! because:
1. no traffic jam where it suppose to have a heavy traffic because it was on the second day of CNY and it was saturday night
2. get the seat without reserved. only need to wait for a while. even my friend who came right after me cant get a spot bcoz is all reserved
3. we got into the car right before the rain started

let's wrap up everything !

it was an awesome 12 to 12 (noon to midnight) reunion. they should know that they made my day ! 
one of the best day i have and this day made a really good beginning for month of february. hopefully this is not the end but the beginning for everything. i never heard anyone having a kindergarten reunion like what we did. surely we will plan for the next reunion and invite more people to come (i hope they can make it).

pre-CNY

one day before chinese new year ! to be honest, when the day came, i dont realize that the next day is cny because i feel that it is not so hype this year. but i din tell that is not a good day because actually this is one of the best pre-cny ever.

bro time & mall-to-mall shopping !

this year is shooo specyal (act cute) because my bro from medan came to jakarta for celebrating new year together. honestly, is the only possible time for all of us to meet here. my family is a super busy-body people. well basically is because each of us are separated geographically (medan-jakarta-KL) from each other. life-oh-life.

so we started by visiting Mall Kelapa Gading (is been the 3rd time i came in this week, seriously). i tell you, this shopping mall has been part of my life since in secondary school. from making new friends (i played arcade lot last time till i went for competition :P), movie with family, shopping, study for exam, spent emo time, & now is been a place for me to accidentally meet old friends ! isn't it awesome? haha. ok back to topic, i have sense that my bros are going to shops around and is true. the old habit has return where i normally wait outside the fitting room, waited them in-out that cubical room, and give a comment "yes, is nice" "no, too tight" :D i miss those time and enjoying it though.

we ate what we loved for lunch. Hoka Hoka Bento ! is a japanese-indonesia restaurant who has the best taste. is been my favorite since i was young ;)

is not the end yet. we moved to another mall nearby (by distance is near but because of traffic-jam is become far huhu) which is Mall Of Indonesia (MOI) coz my bro want to buy pants. mom gonna scold us if she found this out. superb mall to mall hoping.

korean dinner

i love pre-cny dinner, coz normally i am the one who decide where to eat. after a year din come back to jakarta, i realize that my area is now dominated by korean people. well, i am happy with that *fully support*. we dine at Bornga Original Korean Taste. well if you love korean food, you have to come here and taste the yummy meat. recommended :) when i entered the restaurant alone and was looking for my bro, the korean manager came after me and start speaking korean. i feel so dot dot dot. i stoned there cause all i can hear is just annyonghaseyo, yet i'm happy haha *winning face*

oh ya, i wanna share this. my bros are actually twin and we have 12 years gap. we are all the rooster in chinese calender (extra unnecessary information xP). so this time, i had a dinner with my mom, my twin bros and my 2nd bro's wife :)

this part gonna have long by pictures of food. recently, i love to take picts of food and post it on my instagram instead of my face. reason is simple. is all because i am the one who take it with my own angle and unlike human where they won't move around and one shot is enough (i hope it does make sense haha)

 

 

last minute reunion

this little reunion here is been set up few hours before the event. we indirectly met each other in shopping mall. nadia and i haven't meet each other since 2007. i used to play all day long after school time when i was young. so much childhood memories coz we knew each other for long time. we've been in same class for 6 years continuously from 9yo. glad to meet her and gio right before they going back to singapore. maintaining friendship is important ;)

everytime i met old friends, is nice to discuss the most happening things happened in the past. it was the fun part and unforgettable moment that we can keep till we get old. all the hidden story in the past just revealed freely.
