treston's christmas party

this is a yearly party at i will never missed out. is all about the gathering besides the party itself. is pretty hard gather all of them because they all study overseas. this is the only appropriate time for almost everything back to Malaysia for a holiday. they are tdc. taylor's dance club from subang. they all basically malaysian except arvin and me.

they are not just any person. they are the beginning of why i started to build a dance club with arvin in taylors lakeside. i will not forget how we first met. i still remember everything in the details even what i wore on that day. basically, if me and arvin din meet them, there will no tudc in taylors lakeside campus :)

one thing i like from this gathering is when everyone put away their gadget and spending their time chit-chatting. i hardly saw a phone on anyone's hand while in this gathering. is really hard to get rid-off our gadgets even for an hour in nowadays and they did it ;) another things that i love from this gathering is the secret-santa exchange gifts and the card games with alcohol. this is when i threw out lot of laughs :D

years ago, i could not return to indonesia because my holiday is really short and i celebrated my christmas and new year with them at the same place with the same ritual. is been like a yearly habit that shouldn't been miss. i am going to graduate in 2014 and i dont know how this will continue :(

a day trip to Ipoh

let me tell you this short journey. a journey of travelling Ipoh with with the Taylor's University Orientation Leader aka tuol2013 :)

we departed at 6:30am to our first destination which is Sungkai Hot Spring. thank you to waze that provide right direction to the place. is super cool apps :] we reached at 8am. it took only 1.5 hours from PJ area. i spent RM12 to enter (this is why i dislike being adult coz i have to pay the most expensive entrance fees :P). there are lot of things you can do here ! tips: the earlier you came, the lesser people you will see and the more you will enjoy the moment.
we continued the trip to Ipoh. we had to drive another hour to reach ipoh. the first place that we attacked is the Onn Kee (Tauge Ayam) ! is basically the chicken rice that originally come from the town ! i rank it 9/10. i never taste chicken rice like this before...
and within 5 minutes walk, we reached the famous Funny Mountain Soya Bean. they are famous with their Tau Fu Fah and Soya Bean :) its too famous and its over rating in internet. in the shop, there is a board written this "we open from 1030am till sold out". the business just too good... the tau fu fah texture is so smooth and easy to digest. it tastes so good until yekai and leo finished their third bowl of tau fu fah :D
we dropped by to kedai teh Purple Cane Tea House. is just opposite the tau fa fah's place. it looks like an office building but don't judge it from its cover. is really pretty and cooling inside. thankfully jie yan introduced this place. the sun is just too hot and i need to rest my legs too. from that moment, my friends started to give each other IQ questions till the end of our trip and the questions are not easy. i still can't forget mok and yekai serious face when getting this question and think hard for the answer. they really can answer the questions. so unbreakable. but there is one IQ question from trecia that no one can get the answer. i believe, no one can answer it :D
next stop ! Ayam Garam Aun Kheng Lim. is a take-away kind of chicken and it taste salty (as it say ayam garam in the title xP). one of the famous food in ipoh. you should try coz this is one of a kind. 9.5/10. they pack it nicely in a box if you travel far and the price is affordable. RM 17 per box. just need to re-heat it when reach back home.
after bought some snack to bring back home, just a few blocks away, there is a street called as Ipoh Mural Art. a street that full of drawing on the wall. finally i can stop eating for a while and just took some photos :) at the moment my tummy filling with joy instead of food :P

well, Jie Yan never gave up to feed 9 of us. she tried her best to do any possibilities to let us eat and eat and eat. so, she went to take-away some of the best kaya-puff, curry-puff and portuguese egg tart to the car. we had to eat it in the car because when the car stopped, we arrived at another destination to eat again... 대박 ! (meaning: awesome)

it is about 6pm when we reached Ipoh Tuck Kee. they have varieties of noodle and this is my favorite because i love noodle. we ordered wan tan horfun, yu kong hor, hokien mee, braised mushroom chicken feet, and baby octopus in soya milk. they are all recommended ! rate this place 10/10 !
after that meal, i can tell that half of us were showing "i will not survive" kind of face. haha ! all the shops and foods are located in one area that we don't need to walk so much. it is a good and bad news. good thing is that we don't need to move the car and bad thing is that we dont burn the fats inside yet we didn't stop eating

this is another food that i ate. ice kacang ! i am lost here, i don't know where they brought me to. i just blindly sit in car and let them bring me to the next destination haha xD too full make me can't think.
last but not least ! jie yan's family brought us to Hillview cafe where they had really nice coffee, rojak, satay and etc. it is a kopitiam. i rate this place 9/10. i don't have any picture of it because the place is outdoor and it was dark. unable me to take any photos hix. but i promise, it tastes good (although i don't eat all, but i can tell from my friend's face reaction). is so funny to see the boys eating all the food without complaining coz jieyan's parents treat us for that meal.

i had really a great trip ! we ate non-stop from 1pm up to 9pm. i really respect with kenny and tong-yang who gave us a safe ride till we reach back home. i thank to jieyan the ipoh girl who want to spend her time to bring us around and feed us with good food. lastly, i thank to the people who went for this trip and make it so happening.

*psst, 2013 will over soon

freedom is here

its been a while since i posted my last post ! and... i am finally FREE. no more exam. no more study. no more classes :') that indescribable feelings when you walked out from your exam hall and you can scream it out ! HOLIDAY

so many plan that i want to do and the biggest plan i want to do is being lazy :) i know it is lame but i've been so much busy and tired of things for the past few months and all i need to do is have a good rest. so just for this month, i will be as lazy as a pig.

well ! lot things waiting for me from today upto end of the year. such as: christmas dinner with housemates, escape from city trip, christmas party, new year in langkawi and so much more ! i thank to God for this. i believe He planned this for me. so blessed.

this month is the end of the year. by then, i will get older, i will get more challenges. i will wrap up everything that happen in this year and reflect it back. the mistakes i did will become the life lesson for the future and the good memories will remain forever in my heart.

Avicii @ Sepang

Finally the time has come ! the no 3 DJ in 2013, AVICII ◢ ◤ ! I've been waiting for this since September and it has come.
When we are otw to Sepang, a lot of radio station played wake me up songs. It is just too happening on that day. Its pretty slow to get the parking as well as queuing for toilet. But at least the overall management is better than the Rave i went before :) Avicii is really good. That night even become better when Martin Garrix and Bassjackers drop the bass! Three of them really made my day.

(i went with sue, yin ying, teo, and hendry)

(met joyce and manvin)

(with the Future Nation)

I like this party. this rave is one of the best Rave that i went so far. I really look forward for more :D going with the right people is really important to boost the mood up. Really great that I had a nice ending for November  and good start for December.
